How good are US leagues compared to English leagues?

Ive always wondered how good the English League compared to leagues in the USA (MLS, USL Champ., USL 1, USL 2, NISA, etc.). I'd like to know where each of the United States leagues would fall in terms of level of play and difficulty in comparison to leagues seen in England (Prem, EFL Champ/1/2, and National League). If you had to place them in a pyramid, how would each League rank?
