Question on American football boots

Hello everyone, I’m coming up on my final season of school league and was wondering if anyone has ever used American football boots. I know that it’s illegal to have the front stud. If anyone has cut the front stud off please let me know how it was to play in them. Side note I’m a gk so I don’t really feel my boots really matter and I want something that looks cool for my senior season.
