Ignorance post.
Okay here we go:
I've been playing souls games since roughly 2013. Random breaks throughout those years but I always come back to them. I love the play style; dodge-roll, limited healing, bosses, enemies, the artwork is and always will be my favorite. Dark souls: prepare to die was my first ever played and I wish I could play it again blind for the first time.
DS2 being my all time favorite with DSR as the runner up and ER probably coming in 3rd or 4th (great game I'm just not much of an open world player).
I've tried Thymesia, Siekero and BB. I don't think I'll ever git gud enough for Siekero though I wish I could because it's a beautiful and flawless game. I really really want to get better at BB (hence the post here today) because of the darker style. It reminds me of my first time playing dark souls, in my 20s gaming Astros in a dark bedroom getting the shit scared out of myself with bosses and jump scares.
Is there any suggestions ya'll might have for a BB nooby? I try a subtle approach, or even a rush approach but I always get overwhelmed, over taken and just end up quitting because of frustration and revert back to what I know (currently a DS3 run).
TIA and please keep the hate to a minimal, I'm doing my best to enjoy this game. Then I want to move to LoP.
