Is there an issue with snipers for anyone else?

I'm having a major issue with snipers in this game. It's like no matter what I do, the shot misses. I even had an opponent camping and when I shot through a glass window, even though I took my time to line it up, it missed. Is anyone else having issues with the snipers or do you have any tips?
