Looking for stories about Black Women that aren't reductionist trauma/trauma porn

Hi Ladies, I'm an animation grad student, and I'm creating a research project based on my interaction with Octavia Butler's Parable series. A huge part of my research is engaging with sad and dark stories that center Black women but aren't trauma porn. I've gathered references for other aspects of the project, but I'm having a hard time finding other pieces of art and media that manage to avoid trauma porn without shying away from hard topics like violence and misogynoir. I really want to find more inspiration that addresses these themes but still manages to protect the Black audience. Janelle Monae's Dirty Computer is one example I have come across.

Would any of you happen to have any good pieces of art that feature BW and highlight our stories without being reductionist trauma? (Bonus points if it's an animated project).
