Making BJJ friends.

As a gay man in a red state, I’m constantly Ralph Wiggum in the back of the bus “hehe, I’m in danger.” Maybe gays just have an easier time meeting and socializing, we can vogue from across the room.

Jokes aside, I’m two weeks in to my BJJ classes and I am having the worst time meeting/socializing with these guys. Straight men help me out here. How do you make BJJ friends?

Or maybe this is just a white belt thing and I need to stick around longer, show them I’m not going anywhere?
