Getting graded when I have no coach

Honestly this is a long story.

I’ll try to make it short though. I live in a small-ish rural town in the US and essentially just purposefully started, and went through with, a gym split. My old gym was the only gym in town and my old coach/black belt was frankly running up his prices too much than was comfortable for me (think paying $200/month for 2 classes a week + open mat time). Went through 2 price hikes in the time I was training there. I also wasn’t learning anything anymore and I’ve only been training for about 2.5 years - I was self teaching from instructionals to continue improving, so didn’t feel like financially it was worth it anymore. I want to be a decent competitor, but I was spending more time studying jiu jitsu than my coach does and I’m working full time getting my masters in engineering on top of that. There were other reasons I decided to leave, was getting mildly cult-y vibes as things went on, but mostly just didn’t feel like I was getting anything out of my coach anymore and felt that students were being exploited. I don’t doubt more price increases would’ve been on the way since my coach had a monopoly in our community.

Other, more senior people felt this way and had their own other personal gripes, so they decided to leave with me and we started our own gym (hence the split). One of them is a brown belt and needs someone to be graded under in order to get his black. After our past experience we’re also hesitant to be graded under just anyone and would rather be graded under someone decent and have it take a little longer to get promoted. We’re willing to travel across the world since that is pretty much a requirement (we’re about 1.5 hours away from the nearest major city and therefore other bjj gym). Anyone know of anyone who would possibly be willing/able to grade us?
