For Those Who Have Done Biomedical Engineering, What The Job Outlook Look Like?

Hello all,

I need an advice whether I should pursue a degree in biomedical engineering. I have a bachelor of General Science. I have studied mostly biological sciences like general chemistry, organic chemistry and human anatomy and physiology.

I recently thought of getting a bachelor in Biomedical Engineering. What do you guys think of this field? For those who have completed the degree,

where did you find employment?

what is your salary look like straight out of school?

did you have any difficulties finding a job?

I don't want to spend 2-3 years in school for a major and then not able to find employment.

Please advise me and provide me with some detail about the job opportunities out there for Biomedical engineering.
