To the "lower you saddle" brigade on this sub

Can you stop reflexively handing out this advice? I don't know where this is coming from around here lately, but literally 90% of the time I see those comments they're misguided, usually (but not always) because the real issue is too-long cranks.

Of course "lower your saddle" is advice some people need to hear, but please check the subject's minimum knee angle before you give that advice, because if they're overcranked you'll just make their problems worse. Also consider other possible issues like cleat position. Bike fit is a lot more complicated than saddle height.
