Baby won’t walk :/

I know every child develops at their own pace but I can’t help but to be somewhat worried/jealous. My best friends baby started walking at 6/7 months old and here I am with an almost 1 year old and he barely even stands on his own, I get he’s scared and can get around by crawling but I can’t help but to feel like somethings wrong. My little dude can crawl like a champ, he can even use the stairs (supervised ofc) and he knows how to get off the couch, bed etc. he can stand and shuffle while using the couch and coffee table but he just won’t do any of that freehanded. If he does stand it’s for a few seconds and then he drops. It’s almost as if he has zero interest in walking yet he wants to walk at the same time. We do everything we can to encourage him to walk and build muscle, he has a balance bike, push walker and a bunch of other things like that but he has zero interest in them.

My family is starting to get worried about him not walking and I guess that’s aiding my frustration but I’ve always wanted him to walk, I want him to hit that milestone and be able to play with my friends children. They kinda ignore him since he’s just crawling around (they are only 4 months apart) and she’s walking.
