Is Exclusively Pumping Harder Than Breastfeeding?

Currently 20 weeks pregnant and not thrilled about the idea of breastfeeding. However, if I can produce I’d like to feed my baby breastmilk via pumping. @ Moms who have chosen to exclusively pump, what was your experience? Would you recommend?
