More survey results out of Simcoe.com

Hello r/barrie. Brett Glover from Simcoe.com and the Barrie Advance back again with more survey results, as promised.

We have our next in a series of articles surrounding this data ready to go, a colour-coded map of where respondents said they lived (in a general area, no specifics), coupled with how safe they say they felt in the city's downtown, and how frequently they visit the area.

Here's the article, give it a look. The Coles notes version? More people said they felt unsafe downtown, but a greater percentage of those who felt safe say they spend more time there.

For transparency's sake, ten responses were excluded, as the locations provided were blank or just plain unclear.

It's been a real busy month - with encampment evictions, the police service proposing a $71 million budget, a monument renaming, the new Bryne Drive extension opening, the loss of a great broadcaster and a good friend, and so much more - so we haven't had the time to really dig into this data as much as I'd like. Yet. But we're in the process of booking interviews now.

Thanks again to those who participated, and we're looking forward to showing you more of what we're learning in the weeks ahead.
