Tips for beating ante 12 and up?

This joker sequence was the best I could build in this run and furthermore this has been the first time I even crossed ante 11.

Didn't get any legendary joker, and I got the steel joker at ante 11 (first ever steel joker)

Steel joker x3.8 Skip joker x4.2

I usually played high card or five of all kinds. It was fairly easy to beat ante 11 but ante 12 has some incredibly high scores to beat!
