Purpose of Christ's Crucifixion in the Bahai faith.

Hi guys, I am Christian and I am interested in the Bahai faith.

I would like to ask how does the Bahai view the purpose of Jesus Crucifixion and how would you guys address another Christian that said "you need to have faith that Jesus Christ is your lord and saviour to be saved"?
