Non pilots aviation lovers, why didn’t you become a pilot?
Here is my story, I’m curious about other peoples stories.
In high school I really wanted to join the air force (with a degree) and fly fighter jets. After doing that I wanted fly for an airliner until retirement.
That was my teenage plan haha. Come to find out, celiac disease is a no no for the military. I could have became an airline pilot the civilian route but I chased other passions. I love my life and don’t regret anything but, I still plan on getting a private license one day and I’m the only one in my family who loves the window seat on a cramped commercial flight.
What’s your story? Do you still plan to fly one day?
