Q re: MTF Trans Getting Partner Pregnant

Hi. 33 AMAB transfem/NB here. Not sure if anyone else here is thinking about parenthood, but my partner (cis woman) and I are. I froze my sperm before starting HRT, but we may try getting pregnant the old fashioned way. still get her pregnant the old fashioned way. I'm on a low does (3mg/day sublingual), so it may work.

But here's my (maybe stupid) question. I know my sperm production will drop while on E, but does anyone have any info about how estrogen effects sperm cells themselves? Like, would HRT create more of a risk of mutation in the sperm cell? Or raise the risk of genetic deformities when we get pregnant?

Before you say it - yes, I plan on speaking to my doctor about this. But I'm just wondering if there are any other folks out there who have had this experience. Or if anyone knows any good resources to read about it (I haven't found much online).
