Plume is far too expensive. Exploring DIY solutions

For my state of Pennsylvania at least. Website lists prescriptions as $100/month, AND $150 startup fee for the appointment with a healthcare provider... (without insurance, which it doesn't seem much more economic with insurance either.)

I'm a full time student/part-time worker, how is anyone supposed to afford this? I'm 25mtf, started hormones at 22. I was forced to get off of medication because it lost coverage under my insurance. Now it's been 3 years more-or-less and I can't wait any longer. I was able to cope before, but now it's TIME for me to get back on HRT. I'm currently exploring DIY websites/solutions. Suggestions, comments of support/love, etc greatly appreciated as I've been through the informed consent route before and now I have no better choice than to take matters into my own hands.

Can I PLEASE receive suggestions for actually affordable options? My mental health is going to suffer if I can't get back onto HRT. I'm willing/able to pay, but I can't afford to drop $250 for a plume subscription at the moment.
