If you are Mexican and moved to another country that wasn't the U.S., how is it going?
I want to leave Mexico, where I live because of my husband who is Mexican. But, he seems to have a lot of worries about moving to any other country.
Can anyone share your experience of how a certain country (besides the US) was for you as a Mexican? Welcoming people? Racism? Ease of adapting? Culture shock?
Obviously I know that not everyone Mexican will have a similar experience, but it would still help me to get some ideas.
(PS I want to leave Mexico because I feel culturally too different, the machismo that affects me in many areas from work to friendships, mafias in our city, and it's been hard to find a decent school for my young son, as well as the salaries being very low and the prices of everything have gone up at least 200 percent since I came here.)
Thanks!
