Small Laterals Advice?

I've spent the last 2 years getting invisalign done to straighten my teeth and open up space for my two laterals to get fixed because they are small.

I saw my dentist around 4 months ago for a regular cleaning and at the time they said once my invisalign was done my two options were:

  • Get a veneer on the smaller one and bonding on the other because its not as bad. $1300 was quote
  • Get a crown on smaller one as insurance would cover this and boding on the other one. $350 was quote

I finished my invisalign a few weeks ago and scheduled an appointment with dentist to get laterals fixed and now they said my two options are:

  • Veneers on both laterals $2800
  • Chairside veneer (not sure if its same as bonding?) for both $1800.

I was really confused cause the prices were much higher then intially quoted and crown was no longer an option. They said that a mistake was made first time and my insurance wont cover crown so they would rather not do it. Only reason it was initially considered was because they thought it would be more economic. Just wondering if this seems right or if it would be worth visiting another dentist for another opinion?

Any advice would be appreciated. Below are pics of my laterals.
