Are you running a business? How’s it so far?
I’m running a business as a service provider. After COVID, I thought business was going to get better. It did. But since Q2 2024, it seems like something is not right. I've talked to other business owners, and they've said the same thing. Even those owners who normally generate multi-million dollar revenue annually said the same, "abit slow ah this year."
I don't want to just jump to conclusions and say the bigger companies are making more money by cutting costs, and the smaller companies are making less money because the bigger companies are squeezing us dry. And not forgetting the inflation. It's easy to point fingers, but I'm trying to get a broader picture.
Is it just a general slowdown? Are specific industries feeling it more than others? Are people just being more cautious with their spending?
I'm trying to figure out if it's just my perception, or if there's a real shift happening.
But, seriously, how is it going for you guys? What are you seeing in your respective fields?
I'm genuinely curious to hear what other business owners are experiencing as we move further into 2025.
