LEAF cold wx lt first impressions

Recently purchased one of these as an all purpose 3 season and I have to say I'm really impressed at how this jacket is performing.
This is my inaugural venture into outerwear from the Arcteryx brand, having previously experienced their clothing line. I have so far worn it in temperatures ranging from 5°C to -5°C and it has proven to be exceptionally comfortable with only a T-shirt worn underneath. Remarkably lightweight, it's great at providing warmth without causing overheating. The combination of thin insulation and windproof fabric effectively blocks out the cold, creating a seemingly magical barrier against the elements while preventing excessive perspiration indoors. The hood is another commendable feature, remaining unobtrusive when not in use.

While some people have reservations regarding the velcro shoulder patches, I find them to be subtle and, overall, the jacket maintains a rather understated appearance. It certainly does not project a “mall ninja” aesthetic.

In all likelihood, this jacket will replace my significantly heavier Canada Goose parka for the majority of the winter season and I will surely be adding more arcteryx to my wardrobe in the future.
