Forgotten pin / no apple id

Few weeks ago while I was setting up my phone I created pin passcode but during the data transfer from my android I gave up on the whole process since it took too much time to complete. Weeks passed and I wanted to try again today but I forgot the pin and I have no apple id to recover it from since I never got to that step to set it up (or at least I can not find any messages on my phone or emails about apple id setup). Is there any way to fix this?
