EDP Response From Customer Service Chat
Just because I keep seeing the same questions and mixed opinions. Not sure if somebody already did this but below is the verbatim response from CS in regards the EDP status:
Yes, (my name). This product is no longer available and does not accept new applications.
Will it have any updates for the current holders?
For current Card Member on these 3 products, Amex Everyday, Amex Preferred, and Cash Magnet Cards • Will NOT experience any changes to their Basic or Additional cards. • Can NOT refer a friend in to these 3 products, however our Card Members can still refer a friend to a variety of other cards and receive rewards. • Can still add additional Card Members • Can view their Card Member Agreements online or via MYCA
Just to clarify, no plans on coming back in the future?
Yes, that is correct!
