Max 7: Secondary Wired Node Speed Drops to 1Gbps – Any Similar Experiences?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been running two Max 7 nodes for over a year without issues, but recently my secondary node has been dropping its connection speed to 1Gbps instead of 10Gbps. Here’s my setup:

• I have a 3Gbps internet connection.
• The primary node is directly connected to my fibre via a 10Gb port and consistently runs at full speed.
• The secondary node connects to the primary node with a CAT8 cable through 10Gb ports, and my computer also connects to the secondary node via another CAT8 cable on 10Gb ports.

At random times during the day, the connection between my primary and secondary nodes resets to 1Gbps, causing reduced speeds and increased ping. The only fix I’ve found is to unplug and replug the network cable from my secondary node to restore the 10Gb connection.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? I’m not sure if it’s due to the cable, firmware, or something else.
