Someone told me these aren't sufficient rating for airsoft because glasses are rated differently than goggles.

I have a pair of Oakley M Frame 3.0. I've been told that z87.+ Isn't good enough. These were purchased as an industrial PPE set for the help gasket, but will they work for airsoft?
