pregabalin addiction?

have used more than 600mg a day pregabalin for like 6-7 months now and i think im addicted… i have terrible withdrawals when i try to quit: terrible anxiety, heart palpitations, back pain (which is so random)… but the anxiety is so bad that i gave in. i was trying to quit cold turkey but now decided to do a taper since i dont know how long this will fucking take.

i have a clonazepam, xanax script as well and i don’t want to get addicted to benzodiazepines so it’s like comfortable knowing if my anxiety is that bad i have something to help like a last resort if i feel like ill die. anyone going thru the same thing?
