Shifting to new technology against my will

It's been a 1.5 year since my joining and my current project and as a fresher, it's a good start. There I primarily work with developing python scripts to interact with APIs, work with AWS services like lambda and cdk as well. All those things are new to me that aligns with my interest and I am developing expertise in these domains.

But now they are moving me to other team. Well it's a great opportunity to learn new things. So I asked them on which technology I will work and I hoped that it will be similar to my current work or atleast similar but they told me to work on PowerBI and .Net which is completely different from what I want to do.

I told them that my first priority is to develop my expertise or atleast a solid grasp of technology then I will consider other technology but they are forcing me to work for another project. If that is case then what's the point of putting my efforts for learning and developing my skill set.

It will also impact my cv. In that case, can someone suggest me what I need to do?
