Is Ableton Live 12 Intro Good?

Just started learning how to use program, had free trial for a month. Signed up for a course to learn Ableton on Udemy which has been very useful and thorough from what I’ve finished so far.

Now I’ve to to make the purchase to upgrade or my progress doesn’t save. Just wondering which Live version is good for beginners.
