Made the switch from Peloton
I started a Peloton bike rental about a year ago and really enjoyed it. I'm a runner, and the Peloton was primarily used for my non-running cardio days (cross training). I saw a friend start posting her Zwift rides to Strava. After searching about what Zwift was and realizing Peloton couldn't offer that (interactivity, virtual riding, the community, etc.), I made the switch a few days ago.
I purchased the Zwift Ride with KICKR CORE, and I love it. The setup was easy, and everything feels really nice. I've only done two rides on it so far, but the jump from Peloton to Zwift has been immediately noticeable. I love it! The biggest challenge I'm facing right now is shifting. I’ve never had to shift on the Peloton, and now I'm stuck trying to figure out what gear I should be in most of the time. Any advice here would be greatly appreciated.
Here's a picture of my setup. I know the first comment will be that I need a fan. I'll work on that. Also, the tools and Dale stuff belonged to my dad. I made these once he passed away. Raise Hell Praise Dale should provide some motivation..
