Mini Achievement
As I embark on this journey of self-improvement, I've made a promise to myself to celebrate every small achievement. Starting with intermittent fasting a week before my first shot of zepbound on March 7th with 188.4 lbs, and then beginning Zepbound treatment on March 14th at 181.5 lbs. The progress seemed slow at first. However, yesterday morning, I saw a drop on the scale to 179.9 lbs, and today, another small victory at 179.2 lbs. So it is 2.3 lbs difference in 11 days with Zepbound.
To stay committed to my goals, I'm focusing on self-compassion and avoiding the temptation to be my own biggest critic. The scale is just one measurement of progress, and I'm learning to appreciate the other positive changes I'm experiencing, like increased energy and improved mood. By staying patient and kind to myself, I know I can continue making steady progress towards my health and wellness goals.
Despite my previous attempts at different diet programs, I'm aware that there's no one-size-fits-all solution. However, I'm optimistic that the additional support provided by Zepbound may help me overcome some of the challenges I've faced in the past. I'm hopeful that it will help quiet the food noise, enabling me to develop a more balanced lifestyle and healthier eating habits. I understand that this process takes time, and I'm dedicated to learning and adapting as I go, with the goal of making sustainable changes that will last beyond the medication.
Whenever I feel my mood beginning to dip, I've found that turning to Reddit and reading through posts and comments can really help me shift my mindset in a positive direction. It's a great way to find support, encouragement, and even some humor when I need it most.
