Skin removal surgery

Not sure what to tag this. I’m wondering what everyone’s experience is with skin removal surgery? I’m 50lbs down plan on losing at least another 50lbs and I already have some loose skin on my belly arms and breasts. I have seen two surgeons for consults and both say I’m a good candidate due to my age and pregnancy status (never been pregnant). I won’t be getting the surgery until I’ve lost at least another 50lbs but I want to know if anyone has any experience with it? I have heard that skin removal surgery comes with a high risk of sepsis and l don’t know if that’s true or if anyone has resources backing that. Thanks!
