Work Insurance Woes...

feel completely free to ignore my whines and woes.

So my work insurance doesn't cover GLP-1's unless it's proven I have diabetes. which I don't. I've been going back and forth with my insurance about getting coverage for zepbound/weighty SOMETHING. Out of desperation and a loss of what else to do, I signed up for a weight watchers program to be able to at least try to get back on Zepbound (I'm a week away from needing a new box). For this current box I'm on, I paid $400 oop on the Eli Lilly website. My job already takes more than half of my paycheck for health insurance as it is. So I cannot keep paying out the way I am doing now. I'm so far behind on bills rn because I've stupidly taken the GLP-1 as a top priority in my head.

I've gone back and forth with my work insurance, I'm pretty sure atp they all know my voice. They made me sign up for Virta, I did. They made me sign up for WW., and I did, so now I'm paying even more money for WW OOP.

This medication has changed my life in so many more ways than just losing weight. I have no more sciatica pain, no more back pain. I can stand for long periods of time now at work without feeling exhausted or in pain. my mind ahs been so clear. my depression/anxiety has been so low ATP I'm beginning to think my weight had EVERYTHING to do with so many mental health problems I had had over the last decade. I'm trying so hard to remain positive and think that everything will work out I the end but I honestly don't know what to do anymore.
