Let me preface by saying Shauna is a bad person. That’s a fact. Not a psychopath or a sociopath, but a bad person. She was before the crash, too.

However… the entire crash, she’s either pregnant or experiencing post pregnancy hormones, while experiencing the worst trauma of her life. Everyone forgets how much hormones can mess up.

In conclusion, pregnancy hormones + teenager hormones + trauma/grief = the Shauna we see.
