This. Is. Wild.

Them eating Coach Ben is actually way more messed up than people realize.

I literally completely switched up in 3x06. Spent the whole show rooting for Ben to survive only to start internally screaming at Nat to put the poor man out of his misery in just one episode. Also did anyone get Midsommar vibes from that last chanting scene? Anyways back to my point.

With the other people they've eaten you can make a case that they were desperate, starving, and there was "no other choice". But this time, it's truly different. There was NO REASON AT ALL for them to eat Coach Ben. They already had plenty of animals and I'm certain a few plants/fruit as well. But yet they still decided to eat him. And they come to this conclusion without any second thoughts, discussion, or hesitation. It's just brought up like it's a normal everyday thing. Not to mention, Coach Ben was incredibly malnourished so he didn't have much meat on his body anyway. He also might have been carrying all sorts of diseases from his possible infections and stuff. Eating the wild animals would've been a much safer and nutritional option at this point.

We are yet to see the hunt(s) in the 2nd Winter but I think the girls have already completely lost it at this point. Call me weird but I'm loving the insanity of this season. Lord knows what's in store for those hikers...
