What do you think adam would think of anime/animation that use lots of absurdism/surrealism like these?
I know he only gave Perfect Blue a 7 (crazy because he loved Black Swan), but what do you think he would think of the other side of odd animation like these? I have a hard time believing he would really vibe with the far end of it, like Mind Game and Tatami, because there isn't much story—just a visual representation of feelings. However, I could see him liking Wolf House, Angel's Egg, and Lain. I haven't seen him review a lot of absurdist stuff, but the impression I get is that he loves surrealism, while everything else he seems kind of meh about. It seems like he isn't too fond of non-Disney animation either, giving most of Satoshi Kon's catalog a 7.
