Tips for new players

I just started a game yesterday and I have no Idea how to make money. I've done like one or two trades but only made like 2,000 Cr. I have looked on forums and people have said buy a miner but that is like 200k and I only have like 10k. Any advice to get money rather than slowly trading for 2k profit per trade.
