Non-english wof fans: are the names translated as well?

Ive been reading the books in portuguese and noticed some changes when it comes to the names. Some are direct translations, like Glory to Glória, but some are a bit weirder, like Starflight to Voador (meaning "flyer", as in, one who flies) or Clay to Lamar, which while sounding like our word for mud (lama), is also a human name?

And Ive been told that in the french version Starflight is called "Comète" meaning Comet. I just think thats super cute and fits him lots <3
