Man killed seagull on Manners Street

About an hour ago, I witnessed a man throw some food on the road for a flock of seagulls just as a bus drove past. The bus driver had no time to slow down or react, other than a beep, and a bunch of them were hit. One was killed.

The man celebrated and returned to sitting in Te Aro Park with his companion.

It was fucking appalling. I called the non-emergency police line but I don’t think I was much help - I was so horrified and freaked out by the man that I left in a hurry and didn’t get many of his details.
