Any tips to actually lose weight?

hello, i’m 22y/o and i’m currently 75kg. for reference my height is 154cm, roughly around 5ft flat i think.

so during the pandemic, like most people, i spent my time working out to pass the dreadful months of total lockdown. i was 54-56kg back then, i believe. i gained 20kg but i think it was gradual — maybe it started around 2021, and then 2022. now it’s 2024, and i feel so heavy.

i’m on day 25 of doing pilates and i’m liking it so far but i really can’t help but be self-critical because i can’t see any visible progress.

i also keep ‘body checking’ by wrapping a hand around my other wrist to see if my fingers will meet (ik it’s bad but i can’t help it).

please give any tips that you think will help me with my journey.

so far no changes in the weighing scale as well.
