How important is maintaining “The Grid” to you?

My wife and I (unseriously) argue about this all the time. If I take something that looks great, I'm happy to post it on IG and go on my day. My wife however wants to make sure that when you click on our IG profile that it all looks like one consistent look when viewed all together. (Which I can also see merit in)

So my question is how much do you pay attention to theming when you post? Or do you just post your best images and go on?
