Unable to pair my Chinese ver Vivo X100 phone (OriginOS) with global ver OnePlus Watch 2R(WearOS 4). Any advice?

Hi reddit,

Recently I have bought a global version OnePlus Watch 2R from Shopee, but am unable to pair it with my Vivo X100 when I tried to pair it via Bluetooth as per the watch instructed: Download OHealth app from Google play store from my phone and look for the model to pair with it on the app, which is when my phone displayed that it is not compatible with the watch 2R 😔

I mean I have tried other solutions, such as pairing it via Bluetooth in my phone settings - which successfully paired by the way, but my watch was still stuck the 'please connect to Ohealth' page, and unable to move/skip past it .

I have also tried to factory reset/restart the watch, but it just brings me back to the 'connect to Ohealth' page anyways. Tried downloading WearOS toolbox but am not able to open the settings on my watch since it is still in its starting/set up phase... Did not know how to see the port number as well.

Tried using WearOS by Google to connect to the watch but for some reason the version I downloaded off Google play store could not find the watch at all but the Chinese WearOS version could, but when it started transferring /updating data to the watch, it would pause halfway and stop due to 'error'. It would not transfer pass the halfway mark. Miraculously afterwards, the Google playstore version worked and found the watch but it could not connect and transfer the data... that made me contemplate life.

I really doubt that I'll get a refund since I opened and used the watch and all; and even if I do, I bought the watch on a KILLER deal (like 35 percent off) during the 11.11 sale.

So I am asking for help on how to get my watch to somehow pair with my phone since the phone doesn't have any gms services... and any suggestions how to move on from here on out is greatly appreciated 🙏 🙏 🙏
