Can wax pen be used for shatter?

I'm having trouble finding vids speciffically related to imbibing shatter with a vape pen. Even those with shatter in the title end up being about wax. They don't show how to add shatter to the tank, nor how much to add. Any pointers for imbibing shatter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
