Checkers

SW goes “live” during an outing with her husband at the Flatiron Crossing shopping center in Broomfield, CO. The girls are at daycare and their parents are spending that time “running errands” together.
As the video begins, we see CW standing beside an oversized checkers board where a game is in progress..
“Hey guys! So currently kicking Chris’ um…tail at checkers. He’s not very happy about it,” SW announces to her invisible audience. Chris shrugs his shoulders in response.
“He uh… looks at it and says “hmmm…what just happened?” So, I just got done doing a 3-way while the kids are in school. I'm doing 3-ways and playing checkers with Chris cuz that’s what we do. Uhhh…trying to see my next move,” she explains as the camera pans back and forth across the board.
“Hmmm…decisions, decisions. Right, Chris?” she asks sarcastically. She points the camera at him as he stands with his hands in his pockets. He already knows what’s coming. It’s the entire reason why she started filming. She wants an audience to watch her beat him but more importantly she is going to try her best to embarrass him. His posture indicates he has seen this all before.
He quietly vows a “come back” in the game. He always goes along with whatever it is she is up to day to day, week to week, year to fucking year. He knows she is going to make him the butt of her lame jokes. It’s pretty much standard procedure in their marriage.
She asks her audience for suggestions on her next move before stepping forward to move a white game piece with her foot.
She calls out greetings to people joining in to watch her live stream as CW moves his checker resulting in him capturing one of her game pieces. She gives him a little lecture about his choice of moves and he says “I’m just going to get jumped anyway.”
She responds, “No one likes sore losers, Christopher.”
He smiles back at her, trying to be a good sport.
She doubles down on the insult, once again insisting he is a “sore loser.”
She calls out a greeting to Sharon, Chris Miller’s wife, with a sing-song voice. She again explains she had just finished up a 3’way call.
“I love being able to work um…and uh…have fun!”
The camera silently watches as Chris moves another of his checker pieces. His demeanor has changed in the last minute and a half. His shoulders are down and his body language seems…dejected. Like he would rather be anywhere than here, right now, with his wife. We are about to find out why.
“Seriously dude?” SW calls out after his last move on the board. “Are you just wanting to get jumped?”
Chris dutifully makes another move, resulting in him mistakenly capturing one of her pieces. He moved his checker as though he were playing chess. He doesn’t realize his mistake but SW is going to point it out and make damn sure everyone else knows as well.
She tells him she hadn’t been paying attention to the game because she was watching her live feed and asks him about his last move. He explains and she immediately recognizes his error. But she asks the audience to back her up on her claim.
She calls out to Nicholas Thayer, one of Chris’ only real friends in Colorado. He is the husband of Amanda Thayer, SW’s friend, former director of Primrose and soon-to-be downline Thrive promoter.
“Nick, help me out here,” she says. Chris holds his hands out in a sign of acceptance to her claim he had made a mistake. He is trying to convey to her that he understands and she doesn’t need to bring his buddy into the ridicule he knows is coming.
She demands he put her “man” back. Then she instructs her audience to rewind the feed and tell her where Chris went wrong.
Someone named “Keith” says, “You cheated. It’s not chess.” SW laughs loudly and thanks the commenter.
Nick Thayer makes a remark, teasing his wife. SW responds, “That’s awesome Nick. I am, I am…uh…very competitive. So, but I don’t like cheaters either.”
Others on the live stream join in and SW revels in the fact that they are agreeing with her. She claims he is cheating, once again.
She turns up the snarky attitude, “I’m teaching you the right way. We gotta teach our kids the right way, dude.” She once again thanks the audience for agreeing with her. She tells CW her audience members have “called you out dude.”
“K, now move,” she commands. CW stands still and silent, looking at the board. SW quips, “I think I have a sore loser on my hands here.” CW continues to smile as he moves around the board looking for a move to make.
SW’s turn. She greets a newcomer and explains to the new arrivals on her live feed what they are watching. Look at her playing checkers “while working.”
“Cuz you know, that’s how we do it,” she boasts.
“Chris is being a sore loser.”
She suggests to Nick Thayer they get together and come back to have a checkers foursome.
She tells everyone they had just finished lunch while their kids were in school.
SW has a great idea for Nick. Amanda Thayer should play “hookie” from her job one day so they could all hang out somewhere. Doesn’t that sound like fun?... Anyone?... Chris?
Chris works long, 12 hour shifts for 8 days straight. Imagine having to spend one of your precious days off playing checkers with your wife while she tries to humiliate you live on Facebook. I would have lost my shit a lot sooner than he did.
More staring at the game and chatting with her audience members. Chris’ turn to move. She claims CW is “chasing after” her on the game board.
“That’s ok. I got you,” she warns.
More talking about Chris trying to “cheat.”
“They’re watching you dude.”
Silence from dude.
She says “hello” to several more people who have joined the stream. She has to get a dig in on her man for the newbies.
“I’m playing checkers with my…cheating husband. He’s a cheater. Right, Chris?” Loooool. The irony is not lost on me.
“We’re both competitive except I always win,” she claims. Chris, standing with his hands in his pockets, laughs out loud.
SW says, “That’s how we keep our marriage straight. I always win.”
To which CW responds, “happy wife, happy life.”
She ends the video by saying she was probably boring everyone. She was correct.
“If Chris tries to cheat again, I will definitely hop on here for you guys to fix it-, so I don’t play with any cheaters.”
“Say goodbye Chris,” she demands.
Live feed ends.

Annnnnnd she’s back. She isn’t done ridiculing her husband. She needs an audience to really get him good.
She says CW keeps making the same moves on the board.
She tells the audience he is losing.
“Delaying the inevitable” is what she means to say but in true SW fashion she fucks that word all the way up.
CW calls her out this one time, "those are my words" he says.
“Just do it. Just take the ‘L’” she tells him. She captures his piece and rubs it in like the sore winner she is.
“Dude just take the ‘L’ “
“He won’t take the ‘L’ “
“He’s totally taking the ‘L’ “
The game ends and CW resets the pieces on the board. SW says “Kelli” is laughing at him.
“He lost. I win.”
She demands Kelli come and visit them and bring her baby. She claims the girls miss her as well as her and CW. The girls have never met Kelli. She is a friend of SWs from NC.
“Bring me the baby. Before he’s a toddler and I don’t want him anymore.”
She pesters Kelli to book a flight and come to Colorado. She wants Kelli to bring her baby and her husband can also come.
“He can babysit while we go out,” she says.
Hmmmm…do we think Kelli treats her husband the same way SW treats CW? Sure, there are plenty of controlling spouses out there but SW was in a league all her own.
She wraps it all up by making sure everyone knows CW lost to her at checkers. They are off to finish up their day “without the kids.”
“Talk to you guys later.”
