Switching gears feeling more clunky

When I first got my 2018 wrx a couple months ago, going into first was super clunky. Rest of the gears were fine. This morning though it seemed going into second and third were way more “clunky” than usual. I’m bringing it into my mechanic next week, any thoughts as to what it can be? From what I’ve read the WRX gear box can be like that. Just curious to hear any more info, thanks
