Learning to code at WGU

Hey everyone I'm currently going after the software development degree at WGU. I started with having no coding behind me and wanted to ask. Has anyone who's in the same boat as me and has done this program or doing it currently. Finding that when you have gotten/are at the coding sections of the degree that it helped better you on your coding journey? Just wanting to know that even though it may be quite challenging that going through it will be a net positive. Also what would anyone recommend to help further me along as for as learning to code better? Thanks in advance!
