I don’t know how to make this drug be consistent and I’m done trying. It’s not worth it. What alternatives have worked for you?
I tried. It’s been two months and I don’t know how to make this drug be consistent. Either it doesn’t last long enough or it doesn’t do anything. When it doesn’t work, the side effects amplify my ADHD and make everything worse. I have also had unceasing constipation since starting it that has progressed to IBS and blood sugar disregulation (yes, really). I tried cutting out certain supplements, taking it after meals, taking it before, etc.
I’ve found that it does work better when I take it an hour after breakfast, but like, am I just supposed to get through my morning unmedicated? Because it takes hours to kick in after eating. If I take it while eating it will kick in instantly but will literally only last 2 hours. Eating also acts like an off switch for it I’ve found, so if I take it before eating it will just stop working basically. You get the point.
It’s by far the pickiest medication I have ever used and I’m done using it. It was nice when it worked for maybe 5 days, but it’s just not worth the trial and error anymore.
Can anyone suggest any alternatives that have worked for you that don’t require the planets to align in order to actually work properly?? I know that it depends entirely on your own physiology, but I still would like to know other people’s opinions regardless.
