Is it possible to purposefully lower heart rate?
[17m] Basically vyvanse has been the first med I tried and 30mg felt amazing to me in terms of focus, even though I still had to will myself into focusing on the right things. But it also gave me a good chunk of anxiety, and made my heart rate much higher than my normal (normal resting around 89-98, on vyvanse was 112-129). Ive been on concerta for almost 3 weeks now and been on 36mg for 3 days but the good effects I had on vyvanse just arent there, except for maybe a quieter brain, and it doesnt kill my appetite nearly as much as vyvanse and my sleep is generally less effected(executive dysfunction still high, made me anxious but felt less heart palpitations, brain wasnt as scrambled as no meds but completing tasks doesnt feel rewarding at all, so still easily distracted)
If i could choose I would have the 30mg Vyvanse instead but is it possible to remove the increased heart rate or at least lower it to a safer degree? I also may attribute the increased heart rate quite a bit to the anxiety i felt on vyvanse. Do beta-blockers do anything? Is there any possible way to go back? I was on 2 weeks each 10mg, 20mg, and then 3 weeks of the 30mg vyvanse before getting put on concerta. I'm super stressed about my final year in highschool and im super close to failing classes while knowing I'm capable of much more. Any and I mean any advice is much appreciated, I'm looking to get out of this rut as much as I can.
