Is €1300/month enough to live in Vilnius?
Hi everyone! I’ve recently applied for a one-year traineeship opportunity in Vilnius, and I’d love to hear your advice. The position offers a net monthly stipend of €1300, and it would be my first "real" job after completing my studies (I've worked part-time for some little shops and stuff like that when I was a student but you know, it's not the same thing). I’d like to know:
- Is €1300/month a livable salary in Vilnius, considering rent, food, transportation, and other basic expenses?
- What are the average costs for renting a small apartment or a room in a shared flat in the city?
- How does the cost of living in Vilnius compare to other European cities?
I’d really appreciate any tips or insights about life in Vilnius, especially from people who have experience living or working there. Thanks in advance for your help :)
