Is Hanoi’s Pollution THAT bad?

Yesterday’s post on pollution in Hanoi scared me as I plan spend next week in Hanoi. Should I go somewhere else due to the current pollution? Would love to visit there, but not if you can’t even go outside.

Instead, I could go to Sapa, Ha Long Bay, or maybe DaNang, or even Siem Reap?

I already have plans to visit Ninh Binh, Mai Chau, and Hoi An, but I could also extend my time there as well.

UPDATE: We decided to head to Da Nang and spend more time in that area.
