help with second year econ classes selection (eco206 and 208 vs 200 and 202)
Hi!
I was looking into the classes I'd need to take as an econ major next year and have been pretty conflicted. For context, I did okay-ish in eco101 (70%) and eco102 (77%). I'm not really sure if I'd be interested in taking up any of the econ specialist programs but am considering going to grad school.
I'm not really bad at math per se but through my research on reddit, I've read a lot about how eco206 and 208 are far more challenging.
The other reason I'm in a dilemma is because my first semester GPA was pretty bad (2.23) although I did improve in semester 2 (my semester 2 GPA was around a 3.6) but am looking at graduating with a good CGPA overall.
Thus I really dont wanna take classes that are gonna hurt my GPA too badly. Additionally, I will be taking eco227 and mat235 to complete requirements for my math and stats minor and am worried that my course load would be too much.
Any suggestions are appreciated :)
